Nowadays, it has become important to learn programming languages. Anyone connected to technology must have strong command on at least one programming language. For a beginner, it is difficult to decide which language to choose since there is a very wide variety of languages available.

Let’s look at some popular programming languages and discuss which ones are easier and more fruitful to learn.

Python

This is one of the most popular and easy to learn programming languages. It is gaining scope rapidly both because of its user-friendliness, and use in a large number of fields. It is an easy-to-learn programming language since the syntax comes easy on the mind and is based on simplicity. Python remains the best choice for beginners.

Some popular fields of Computer Science also use python. There are many famous libraries which can be used in different fields. Pygame is a very famous library for game development but the drawback being that it is very basic. Despite the fact the it doesn’t allow professional game development, Pygame still remains a good place for game developers to start.

Other uses of Python include developing websites and in data science. Python remains a core programming language for back-end development and its library Pandas is great for data science.

JavaScript

This also is an easy-to-learn and famous programming language. Its dominant use is in web development. A famous JavaScript library, React is a decent place for web development, a reason being for its great demand. Otherwise, the syntax of JavaScript is smooth and easy.

C#

Coming from the C family, C# (C Sharp) is also a well-known programming language. Compared to Python and JavaScript, its syntax is a bit hard to grasp. C# has a wide variety of uses. It is used in web application development as well as game development. C# is used in the Unity game engine for game development and allows professional game development. For those already familiar with the C programming language, it is a piece of cake to get used to C# since the syntax is almost the same.

C++

Another language from the C family is C++. This is hardest of all the languages discussed in this article but is quite useful. All the operating systems: Windows, Linux. Mac-OS, use C++ at some point. C++ is also used in professional game development in the Unreal Engine game engine, which is also the creator of a highly famous online game, Fortnite. The list of C++’s uses doesn’t end here. C++ is also used in web development, with companies such as Google putting it to use.

The list of programming languages of course doesn’t end here. But these are some of the most popular and easy-to-learn programming languages which would also yield benefit in the future.
